Preserving, restoring, and improving public parks within the City of York

York City Parks Conservancy’s vision is to collaborate to transform all York City parks into safe, healthy destinations inclusive for all people to enjoy for generations.

York City parks are heavily used by families, for summer parks programming, as well as for neighborhood block parties, festivals, and softball tournaments. York City staff provides basic maintenance for the parks with help from volunteer groups like Bring on Play, Angels of the Park, Eat, Play, Breathe, and local neighborhood associations. As facilities and equipment age, however, more extensive repairs and renovations are critical to each park’s continued vibrancy.

Donations to York City Parks Conservancy fund capital improvements for York City parks. The Board of Directors of York City Parks Conservancy works with City of York leadership and staff to identify priorities in the City’s Master Plans for park improvements and to allocate support for these improvements.

Your support of York City Parks Conservancy will help us invest in making York City's parks healthier, safer, and more accessible for everyone!
